The Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) would like to welcome Jordan Rousu to its staff. Jordan is the new Custom Architectural Review Committee (CARC) admin to assist IHCA Executive Director Sarah Hoey with the final transition of the Harrison Street/Grand Ridge Drive custom construction process from the master developer Port Blakely to the IHCA administration.
Jordan: “I am very excited to join the IHCA team. I have lived in Issaquah Highlands since June 2020, just about a year. I moved from downtown Seattle, so it is quite a bit different [here], but I love how there is a sense of community in the Highlands.”
“It’s great being a stone’s throw away from a park or beautiful trails, no matter where you are. I love taking my nephew to Central Park and chasing after him, and the views of Bellevue and downtown Seattle from Central Park are the cherry on top. I have been impressed by the neatly manicured community and love calling Issaquah Highlands home. I love hiking and enjoy the outdoors, but not as much as I love cuddling up on the couch with my cat, Pumpkin, and a good book.”
