Getting more involved in our community is a fun and easy way to meet people and contribute to the participatory culture of Issaquah Highlands. From community boards and committees to community groups and events, volunteer opportunities in Issaquah Highlands are always available.
Boards and Committees
Want to help shape Issaquah Highlands governance, growth, and community culture? Consider joining a board or committee! Board and committee positions typically require at least a monthly commitment.
All Issaquah Highlands community groups are volunteer-led and cover a wide range of interests. All community groups are open to the public. Don’t see a group for you? Consider starting your own.
Neighborhood block parties can be simple potlucks in a pocket park or large productions with food trucks and entertainment. In either case, advanced planning and organization will help your block party be a success.
Established in 2013, the Highlands Youth (HY) Advisory Board assists with the community-building work of Highlands Council, providing youth a voice in community matters. The board includes middle school and high school members.
