Community Gardens

Gardener Dashboard

The Issaquah Highlands Community has five community gardens in three locations with patches available to rent annually:

  • The Vista Gardens are located along the paved path between Park Drive at Trail Head Vista (across the street from Central Park) and Natalie Way. Follow the paved path under the powerlines and look for the red shed – you have arrived! The garden area closest to the shed is Vista 1, with Vista 2 further down across the paved path. The Vista gardens are the community’s first gardens and the patches are a bit larger than the other gardens.
  • The Sunset Walk Gardens are in the Sunset Walk community, across Park Drive from Fire Station 73. When you enter Sunset Walk on NE Hickory Lane, take an immediate left and then an immediate right to find Sunset Walk 1.  Or, by taking an immediate right upon entering the neighborhood, you will find Sunset Walk 2 at the end of the residential street. The Sunset Walk garden patches are in raised, concrete beds, and are a bit smaller than the Vista garden patches.
  • The Westridge Garden is located in the Westridge neighborhood at the corner of Westridge SE and 6th Ave NE. The patches in Westridge are in raised, concrete beds, are a bit smaller than the Vista patches and include two accessible ADA plots.

2025 Growing Season

Patches will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.  The fees for 2025 are as follows:

  • Sunset Walk – $125 + $25 refundable deposit
  • Vista – $150 + $25 refundable deposit
  • Westridge – $125 + $25 refundable deposit

Please review the Guidelines for Garden Use prior to applying for a garden patch.

Renewals begin in January, and we will begin placing people from the waitlist in February 2025. Gardeners must tend to their patches by June 1 to avoid forfeit.
