The Issaquah City Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting of Jan. 17, 2017 to take public testimony regarding a proposed amendment to the Issaquah Highlands Two Party Development Agreement to allow the transfer of development rights by Polygon Northwest for the Westridge Development project. The transfer would raise the number of residential units in the Westridge project from 265 to 365.
Polygon also proposes to meet the City’s affordable housing requirement by developing 25 affordable units for ownership and a five-member group home on a City-owned parcel in Issaquah Highlands.
Anyone interested may appear at the public hearing and be heard for or against, or provide comments regarding the proposed amendment.
Unique to this public hearing, the topic returns to committee level discussion with the Land and Shore Committee on Wednesday, January 18 at 6:30. This committee will deliberate the topic and decide on a recommendation to return to the full council on February 21st.
