The Issaquah School District submitted a letter of interest on June 19th to build an “urban-concept elementary school” on a portion of the land alongside Westridge South neighborhood of Issaquah Highlands. At this meeting of the City of Issaquah, Council Land and Shore Committee will discuss the future zoning of the larger piece of land adjacent to the Westridge South, which includes the parcel the School District is interested in.
The committee meeting begins at 6:30pm, slating the discussion about the parcel adjacent to Issaquah Highlands to begin at 8:30pm. If the council agrees to consider the proposal, the first public hearing would be scheduled for July 17.
The public is welcome to attend this committee meeting, or may watch it live on ICTV.
