This Month: Alley Parking, Reserving IHCA Parks
The “Ask the IHCA” monthly column appears in the Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) section of Connections almost every month. The primary purpose of the IHCA is to preserve, maintain, enhance, and protect the value of property and amenities in the community in accordance with the governing documents. Here are a few of the most popular questions asked recently using the “Ask the IHCA” web form.
I do not want our neighbors to park their cars in front of their garage in the alley. It makes it difficult for us to get in and out of our garage. Are there any community rules about this?
Per the Use Restrictions and Rules, impeding traffic by parking vehicles in driveways located in alleys is prohibited. Find more information on our website.
I wanted to have a small birthday party for my son in the small shared park in front of our home. Can I reserve this area?
We do not require reservations for the use of IHCA parks. They are available on a first come, first serve basis. .
