Fireworks Display Just possessing fireworks in the City of Issaquah is against the law! Not to mention lighting them! Possessing less than a pound of fireworks material in Issaquah without a permit is a misdemeanor and more than a pound is a gross misdemeanor. Discharge of fireworks without a permit is a gross misdemeanor. Violators can be arrested and or criminally cited for these offences. All fireworks material found in city limits will be confiscated. WHERE TO WATCH FIREWORKS? Sammamish hosts a fireworks show and carnival-style gathering every year. It runs from 6-11 pm with a 20 minute fireworks show at 10am capping the event off.
